Nepal Remembered is a visual diary of Luke Golobitsh’s time in Nepal as a member of the Peace Corp. This exhibit shows us the people of Nepal, the culture of it’s people and the everyday activities in it’s streets. Luke captures the essence of Nepal by connecting with it’s people not only with his camera but with his heart.
Golobitsh’s Peace Corps assignment was to work with the Nepal Wildlife Office in their conservation education program. This included photographing the national parks and wildlife. That work remained with the Nepali Wildlife Office. This exhibit of private work shows some of everyday life in Kathmandu, and other locations, during the years 1975-1978.
Luke loves to hear what other people see in his photographs.
