March 2012, – Epson’s new Signature Worthy Cold Press Natural paper arrives. Together with Epson K3 inks printing output enters into the world of professional media.
April 2011, – Julia Reich and Lisa Marie Stevens merge their talent to form a new company “Two Chix Photography”. This merger was a joint effort to help raise money to benefit the Shane Belskey Family Benefit. Shane suffered a severe spinal cord injury while vacationing in Hawaii in March 2011. The funds will help pay for his medical transport from Hawaii to Chicago and also help pay the surmountable medical expenses the family will incur. A $350 portrait package was donated to the benefit.
March 2011, – New Epson Stylus R3880 printer arrives. Epson’s UltraChrome K3 ink technology brings professional archival quality to output with extremely wide color gamut and lightfastness ratings of up to 108 years for color and over 200 years for black and white prints.
June 11, 2010 – One of my photos (After The Burn) was selected as one of National Geographic Magazine’s photo editor Susan Welchman’s daily selections. From the Dailey Dozen a selection of photo’s were published in the magazine. The selection process is done by vote. My photo unfortunately not chosen for publication, but it was a thrill make the editors cut.
